Joe Biden to take stock of his investment plans on Thursday

(Washington) US President Joe Biden is due to speak with his party leadership on Thursday about his social spending plan before delivering remarks and then flying to the G20 and COP26 in Europe, the House said -White.

“The president will address the Democratic parliamentarians of the House (of representatives) to inform them of the latest developments regarding the ‘Build Back Better’ plan and the agreement on infrastructure supported by the two parties, ”said a White House official speaking on condition of anonymity.

The Democrat is then due to deliver a televised address from the White House at 11:30 a.m., just before boarding Air Force One for Rome.

“He will return to the White House and address the American people about the way forward for his economic program and the next steps to achieve it,” said the official.

The bill for this investment project in education, childcare, but also the fight against global warming, should ultimately not exceed $ 2 trillion, to which should be added the $ 1 trillion of its infrastructure plan already approved by the Senate and which must be finalized in the House.
