Joe Biden gave a highly anticipated interview on ABCNews on Friday, July 5. More controversial than ever, he assures that “no one is more qualified” than him to win the election.
For Joe Biden, there is no question of abandoning the race for the White House. “No one is more qualified than me to win the election”he said on ABCNews on Friday, July 5. After his poor performance in the previous week’s debate against Donald Trump, the American president, more contested than ever, argues that he was “fatigue” and has not “did not listen [s]”on instinct in terms of preparation”.
During the twenty-minute exchange, Joe Biden repeatedly dodged questions about his health. He refused to undergo neurological tests and share the results. The president wanted to be reassuring. “I have a cognitive test every day. Every day, it’s like I’m taking one with everything I do.”he says.
In a tweet, Donald Trump’s spokeswoman, Caroline Leavitt, attacked the Democratic candidate, judging him “in denial and in decline”Within the Biden camp and in the press, concerns persist about the president’s mental health.
