On the weekend of September 17 and 18, cycling enthusiasts will meet in Champagnole in the Jura to end the summer season in style!
Discover the Jura and its lakes in fashion competition Where Trekthis is what this first edition of the Transju’Cyclo, September 17 and 18 next. The different routes will lead the participants in the beautiful landscapes of the Jura Mountains. With routes of 30 to 255kmthe Transju’Cyclo is for all cycling enthusiasts!
Saturday September 17: the Itinerant Rando and the Gentleman
The itinerant hike of 255km which is aimed at adventurers, will leave from Saint-Point lake To arrive at Pontarlier. In the evening, cyclists can rest at Ornans before getting back in the saddle on Sunday to discover the Forts of Salins-les-Bainsthen Arbois vineyardsof Polignybefore returning to Champagnole. Close to 3,500 meters of elevation gainfor a circuit of more than 24 hours.
The test Gentleman 30km is ideal for riding with friends. By two only, the mixed team, feminine or masculine, will have to realize as quickly as possible the 30 km course and 504 meters of elevation gain. Departures will be given every 30 seconds and it is the time of the second competitor which will be taken into account at the finish.
Sunday 18 September – the main event: La Transju’Cyclo
For those who want play the clock, the Transju’Cyclo (3 courses between 65 to 155km and vertical drop ranging from 960 to 2,493 meters) will give you the opportunity to choose your route along the way. These different distances will allow participants to discover the Jura natural park, its lakes and forests.
And for the children from 2 to 4 years olda balance bike testwill allow our young toddlers to experience their first cycling sensations!
