The Teletubbies marked an entire generation. Broadcast for the first time in 1997, this television series has won over children around the world thanks to its fantastic universe, its endearing characters and its bright and colorful aesthetic. For many of us, watching the adventures of Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po was a daily ritual, a true enchanted interlude.
These joyful and unique creatures evolved in a green and magical landscape thanks to which young and old alike escaped for the duration of an episode. Among the icons of this series, Baby Sun, a beloved and emblematic character who embodied the sun which rose above the hill in the Land of the Teletubbies. This baby sun with its enchanting laughter is one of the elements that contributed to the success and popularity of the program.

Baby Sun soon to be a mother
Years after lighting up our screens, Jess Smith, his interpreter, has just announced wonderful news which, unfortunately, does not rejuvenate fans. Indeed, the one who has become a beautiful young woman is pregnant with her first child. News that the pretty blonde did not fail to share with her Instagram community.
“When two become three”, she wrote under a photo of her last ultrasound, taking care to tag her companion Ricky Latham. A publication which sparked strong reactions. “The Teletubbies’ sun baby is going to have his own sun baby”, wrote an Internet user. And another to add: “Ricky and Jess, I’m so happy for you!” Jess Smith’s pregnancy comes one year to the day after the announcement of the return of Teletubbies on Netflix.
