The new season of The Voice will be without Jenifer. This is also being replaced by one of its biggest rivals in the person of Nolwenn Leroy. But the interpreter “Nolwen Oh Wo” did not really steal the place of a coach already in place. Since, this year, the tele-hook of TF1 will set up a great novelty. It is not four but five coaches who will take their place on the famous red armchairs and try to find the most beautiful voice in France this year. Among the jury, Nolwenn therefore, Marc Lavoine, Amel Bent, Vianney, or even Florent Pagny.
The latter being undoubtedly sad not to be able to “fight” with Jenifer and this for a very good reason. The two are not at war, on the contrary, they would even maintain a very nice relationship for many years. Our Gala colleagues making it known that their friendship has lasted for more than 20 years now. A relationship that Florent Pagny mentioned some time ago in the columns of Télé-Loisirs. “I believe that we are not very complicated personalities to manage. I like simple and natural people, that’s all she is” he explained at first before revealing that his first meeting with Jenifer was on the set of Star Academy in 2001: “Beneath his glamorous bimbo looks, he’s a tomboy!”. In 2016 the coach of The Voice already complimented his colleague. Remembering in particular the small “disputes” they had had when the ex of Thierry Neuvic was in full pregnancy: “We often fried because I’m teasing and she, on the defensive, especially during her pregnancy. But it’s because we like each other!”, remembered Florent Pagny at TV Grande Chaînes, in 2016.
Unfortunately, they won’t be able to “quarrel” this year but it’s only a postponement. There is no doubt that fans will be able to find the duo of coaches in the coming seasons if the audience is there for this edition and the next.
