Radiant, sunny, smiling, the young woman seems more than ever to be in harmony with herself. And delivers some of the keys to her well-being… because for twenty years that the general public has known her and followed her every move, the singer has been able to find her own way of serenity and peace among all the constraints of notoriety. self-confidence: “I feel good at my age, I know myself better, I assume more of myself,” she explains. How does she approach the milestone of 40 years? It doesn’t scare him! “I am less into seduction, more into acceptance, of the wrinkles on my face, of my aging body… I have become indulgent with my image in the mirror. Obviously, I remain coquettish, but I feel a sense of serenity”, adds the one who married Ambroise Fieschi in 2019. Woman in love, mother filled with three children, -Aaron 19 years old, Joseph 8 years old and another little boy of 1 an-, singer adored by her fans who had been waiting for the release of a new musical opus for four years already, Jenifer nevertheless admits that her way of life is not the most perfect but that is undoubtedly what she likes: “ I smoke cigarettes, I drink coffee, I’m not one to get frustrated, but I know that the body can’t accept everything. For lack of discipline, I gave up on the second gym class…”, she admits in all honesty.

“I am not a night owl”

And to consider nevertheless to preserve his health as well as possible for the next important stage: “To approach my first Bercy in good shape, I will have to get back to sport!” So what is his daily life like? Jenifer does not hide being “a ‘normal’ girl, without filter, homebody or even fierce”. Because it is with her husband and her sons that she recharges her batteries, far from the rhinestones and glitter of show business: “I’m not a night owl, you won’t see me at trendy parties. The red carpet of the NRJ Music Awards or the steps of Cannes, it is a flattering recognition but an exercise which could make me sick”, says the artist who prefers “simple pleasures” like “walking barefoot, plunging my hands in the ground, take care of my plants…”. While waiting to walk the roads of France for the big tour planned after the release of her album… and to be able to find her audience who has been following her faithfully since her first steps at the Star Academy…. 20 years ago already.
