Jeanne Cherhal revisits the original soundtracks of the films in a show

A concert based on film music. Jeanne Cherhal chose exceptional music to write a special show called Cinéma. “I instinctively let myself be guided towards the music of the soundtracks, the opening songs which attracted me and which also represent something in my imagination as a personal spectator.“, explains the singer with multiple hats.

But to be able to produce his show, it was necessary to rearrange the music. A task that did not turn out to be that complicated for this young artist who “love to reduce things that can be very symphonic, very orchestral” because “it’s a great exercise to go to the bone of the piece, in its skeleton, in its melody“, she specifies.

His show will take place on January 31, 2022 at the Théâtre de la Porte Saint-Martin (Paris).
