” I am ready ! So ready! I thank the public across Quebec and Canada who voted for me, you are wonderful, I am so touched, I am so grateful, but above all, very ready! “confided the Saguenéenne singer in an interview to The Press, en route to Niagara Falls where the final takes place. “I left Chicoutimi this afternoon, I sleep in Cornwall to arrive tomorrow at Niagara Falls. We start dress fittings and rehearsals on Friday,” she said.
Jeanick Fournier had impressed the judges of the show by singing I surrender by Celine Dion, which led her directly to the semi-finals where she performed Never Enoughsong from the movie The Greatest Showman. “You’re an angel and you sing like an angel” the judge said Howie Mandel told him while Jason Priestley threw him “You should have a series of shows in residence in Las Vegas”.
“I’ve had a smile stuck in my face since this afternoon, since I heard the news. I’m in a state of grace, it’s completely crazy, it’s incredible! This is my gift for my 50and birthday which is May 20, but I’ll give you an appointment on May 17, for the grand finale, 8 p.m. on Citytv! said Jeanik Fournier very enthusiastically.
