These targeted messages indeed claim, as he asserts, that “the actor Jean Reno would have made his fortune by this means and would have even relayed it on television within the framework of programs in which he would have participated“. He specifies that his image and his identity are therefore used by the authors of these advertisements without any authorization on his part. He has in fact never made these remarks that are attributed to him and has never endorsed the activities of these companies at the origin of these announcements. The friend of the deceased Johnny Hallyday and godfather of his daughter Jade therefore calls for vigilance regarding these announcements but also on all kinds of fraud.
