Jean-Pierre Joffre of the automobile club Rousillon

By imagining Roue Libre, we are convinced that we are helping to shed light on a complex passage in the history of the automobile, to appeal to pleasure and reflection. This event, the first of its kind and its name, aims to both commemorate the past and illuminate the future. A colourful, epic and picturesque past, a past of races of all kinds, a past of pleasure, no doubt too carefree but so pleasant! Collector cars will each tell their own story. Clubs will be present to share their passion. Demonstrations will remind everyone of the joys of travel and will teach them to the youngest.
But Roue Libre is not lost in nostalgia: the Festival also and above all wants to address the debates of time, the environment, the incessant technical evolution, modes of energy, travel for all, through debates, through the productions of numerous exhibitors. We want to shed light on various and even sometimes contradictory perspectives, from which a future for mobility will inevitably arise.
And so, offer everyone three days of fervor and enthusiasm, between past and future, starting now.

Jean-Pierre JOFFRE, the president of the automobile club presents this weekend around mobility in Perpignan
