“I regret that a certain number of unions always choose direct conflict and penalize users,” deplores Thursday February 15 on France Inter Jean-Philippe Tanguy, RN deputy for the Somme, concerning the strike of SNCF controllers, in the middle of the winter holiday weekend for zones A and C.

The National Rally deputy welcomes the fact that “this strike puts the question of wages at the heart of the news”. He also accuses the government “to do nothing about salaries”, not to take “no action”. But Jean-Philippe Tanguy does not “does not understand this mode of action”, judging him “counter productive”. He also says not “understand why unions do not choose to put users on their side” in “doing popular actions”.

For the RN deputy, the choice of the date of this strike contributes to “to experience hell for all those who want to go on vacation, for the divided families who come together.” “The French have a lot of problems, and this adds another to their list”, he regrets. Jean-Philippe Tanguy believes that with this strike, the SNCF unions “give arguments to the government to oppose this strike and their demands.” “This kills the salary issue before the debate has even started,” he adds.
