“Versailles 400 is a hybrid concert-show creation broadcast live from one of the most beautiful places in the world as well as in virtual reality in the metaverse, which, I hope, will contribute to promoting our know-how and bringing in a a little more the world of French immersive creation in collective culture”, enthuses Jean-Michel Jarre in a press release. To celebrate the 400th anniversary of the Château de Versailles, the artist will give an exceptional immersive concert. He will be present on site but also in the metaverse thanks to his avatar.
“On December 25, 2023, this concert-show will be an opportunity for the musician to celebrate today’s French innovation in this place which was at the origin of an incredible artistic revolution, to pay homage to the great festivals royals who have marked History and made the Château de Versailles, a UNESCO world heritage site, world famous”, notes the press release. The show will also be broadcast on the M6 group’s television channels.
