Monday, June 27, the alleged murderer of Sophie Le Tan, Jean-Marc Reiser, arrived before the Assize Court of Bas-Rhin. His trial began, and this for a week.

Indeed, the main suspect, Jean-Marc Reiser, has changed a lot. The 61-year-old man, who has spent almost a third of his life in prison, initially denied then admitted to having hit the young woman and then cutting up her body to dispose of it in a forest. It is now a question of knowing if the blows caused the death involuntarily or if the suspect set a trap for the victim before committing an assassination. The verdict will be announced Tuesday, July 5.
