After being convicted at first instance, television host Jean-Marc Morandini will be tried on June 5, 2024 in Paris on appeal for suspicion of “corruption of minors”, franceinfo learned Thursday November 23, 2023 from the court of call from Paris, confirming information from Le Parisien.

In December 2022, the host was sentenced by the Paris Criminal Court to a one-year prison sentence with a two-year probationary suspension in this case. He was convicted of corruption of minors against three teenagers between 2009 and 2016, during electronic exchanges and a casting at his home. He appealed his conviction.

During his trial in October 2022, he admitted “recklessness” but defended himself by invoking in particular a form of “humor”. His lawyers had pleaded for acquittal, criticizing a case built on “very fluctuating declarations” and parasitized by a supposed “media lynching”.
