Jean-Luc Reichmann: Huge blunder in Les 12 Coups de midi, the presenter breaks the silence

On Wednesday April 20, 2022, Jean-Luc Reichmann was at the helm of a new issue of 12 noon shots (TF1). And it didn’t escape the notice of loyal viewers, an error crept into the game show. The same evening, the 61-year-old presenter therefore published a video in order to make a small update.

After 13 victories and 51,393 euros in earnings, Maël was eliminated from the competition by a certain David. But that was not the only highlight of the show broadcast yesterday. During the Fatal Coup event, the new Maître de midi was opposed to a young woman named Océane. And an error has crept into the question concerning the birthplace of General de Gaulle.

Océane not having been able to answer, Jean-Luc Reichmann specified that he was born in Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises (a French commune located in the department of Haute-Marne). An incorrect answer since, as some Internet users have pointed out, it was in Lille that General de Gaulle was born. “General de Gaulle was indeed born in Lille and buried in Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises ‼️ Corrigendum to the noon broadcast without no consequences for our candidate Océane. Good evening to Tousss“, wrote the companion of Nathalie Lecoultre. And in the video, in which he appears in casual clothes and with a cap, he specified that he had just noticed “I’huge blunder“. He recalled that the candidate had passed the question and that he had therefore read what was marked on the computer, namely Colombey-les-Deux-Eglises.”It’s a computer error. Don’t worry, no impact for Océane compared to the Fatal Blow game. As it goes very very quickly, I did not have time to react. (…) I wanted to correct because it is still history and it is important for us to be as close as possible to the truth“, he concluded.
