In 1958, Jean-Louis Trintignant met Nadine Marquand and it was love at first sight. At the end of the 1970s, the spouses divorced. Nadine is in a relationship with Alain Corneau then met on the set of the film It only happens to others, of which she was the director in 1971 and he was the first assistant.

Since the death of Alain Corneau in 2010, Nadine Trintignant has lived alone in her private mansion in the Marais district in Paris but is surrounded by her relatives.
