Jean-Louis Aubert: “Sad”, he cancels the last dates of his tour

You can’t know how sad I am….” Jean-Louis Aubert himself announced on Facebook the cancellation of the end of his tour to his audience this Tuesday, January 25. Too embarrassed by health restrictions, the various changes in gauges and dates, the former leader of the Telephone group withdrew for its last month of meeting with its public.

The tour was to take place between February 22 and March 22 and pass through several Zéniths including Rennes, Nancy, Rouen, Dijon, Orléans or Nantes. The last concert, meanwhile, should have taken place in one of the largest venues in France, the AccorHotel Arena in Paris. A room in which he has already performed, notably with the Insus, the group formed with his former partners, Louis Bertignac and Richard Kolinka.

The company Cheyenne Productions, which organizes the concerts of the former member of Telephone, also reacted in a press release, explaining that “the successive waves of this health crisis and the implementation of the measures of the past two years [les] led to an accumulation of uncertainties and unavailability, which are incompatible with the good performance of [leur] production despite the latest government announcements“.

The singer addressed his fans on Facebook explaining that “it’s probably better that way.” To “revenge“, he explains to be “thinking about his surprises for you“. And in terms of surprises, Jean-Louis Aubert knows more about it: he had notably performed many acoustic concerts on the Internet, live and of course free.
