Jean Lassalle accused of rape, the complainant pregnant at the time of the facts, delivers all the details!

Known nationally for his status as a politician, Jean Lassalle is 68 years old, president of his own political party called “Résistons”. The one who ran in the presidential elections of 2017 but also in those of 2022, is currently on the show Traitors on M6. And while he was taking advantage of the media exposure linked to the broadcast of programs on the M6 channel, the famous politician came to find himself at the heart of a new sordid rape case.

According to information from BFMTV, Jean Lassalle is indeed targeted by a preliminary investigation opened by the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office at the beginning of May 2023 for acts of rape and sexual assault. A woman now aged 45 assures in a recent complaint, having been raped by the 68-year-old father of the family at the beginning of 2010.

The complainant explains that at the time, she had to solve a problem in her daughter’s school, which led her to blame herself for Jean Lassalle, at the time a candidate for the regional elections. “I was very disturbed. I had to change schools. We were in the middle of the campaign for the regional elections. I thought that the candidates could help me”. She then contacts Xavier Darcos or Alain Rousset who do not respond to her requests but Jean Lassalle would have been interested in her case. One evening, he even ends up reaching the mother in person by telephone.“He asks me to join him in a big hotel in Bordeaux. I go there with my posters and my pot of glue thinking it’s a team meeting” she reveals to BFMTV. She then finds herself alone in the room with the politician. “There, he starts by talking to me about the campaign, the high-speed line file. He kissed me twice. I pushed him away. I even told him that I could call someone else if he wanted” she remembers.

“I was pregnant”
Determined to obtain favors, Jean Lassalle would have continued to attack him. “At that point, I didn’t know what to do. I told him I was pregnant, which I was. But he didn’t believe me. And then there you go…” she declares. After the rape, the plaintiff would have left the hotel in the early morning then would have gone home and would not have said anything to her husband out of fear. On the other hand, she confides in friends and does not cut ties with her attacker.

“At the time, I was very disturbed by the problem of my daughter in her school. I was on medication”she explains. At the end of the electoral campaign, she thus agrees to participate in a meal with Jean Lassalle and his entire team. It was only a decade later that she decided to file a complaint.

“I realized that I had been in pain for twelve years because of this. It even led me to attempt suicide. And then, recently, I decided to change my life., she explains. Jean Lassalle for his part, could be summoned in the coming weeks to be heard, possibly in the form of an open hearing.
