Member of the troupe since 2014, the comedian has indeed recovered the responsibility for the small sketches presented between the songs after the departure of the sidekick of Michael Jones, with whom he shared the stage for three years. And, supported by Bénabar for the musical part, he is doing quite well: the show broadcast on television continues to attract good audiences year after year.
Even if for two years, the show has been more difficult to set up: due to the pandemic, it had to take place without an audience in 2021. Last March, the fans had been able to return but the artists had been affected themselves by the pandemic. Many of them had to cancel their presence at the last minute. Michaël Youn, moreover, had remained stuck in his hotel room. Tested positive on his arrival on site, he had remained confined for the duration of the recordings!
He should however be back in 2023, just like Patrick Bruel, mainstay of the show since 1993. Pascal Obispo, on the other hand, has not returned since 2016, just like Jean-Jacques Goldman, who prefers to focus on the education of his youngest daughters, Maya, Kimi and Rose (18, 17 and 15).
