This Saturday morning, the General Assembly of the Federation of Hunters of Creuse was held. An important assembly since a vote was held to elect a new office, and therefore a new president. Jean François Ruinaud, the president of this federation for 28 years had announced it. : this year was his last year as president.
And he draws a rather positive assessment of his mandate. “We maintained the prices, we maintained the budget, he unfolds. Now it’s a page that turns, it’s a new book in the library”. But even if he had announced that he would not stand for re-election as president, he was registered on one of the two lists, the one called “Our ambition, hunting for all in Creuse”. But this list was not chosen.
A new president at the head of the federation?
The one for which the members voted is the list “Together, let’s act for the hunt”. At its head, Claire Thieriot, a 39-year-old hunter. “Mr. Ruinaud has led the federation for many years by doing good deeds, she explains. Afterwards, maybe we had to bring a little renewal and be more up to date, especially with our detractors on social networks. I think we have a program much more focused on communication and the defense of hunting as a whole.”
Soon, a vote within the board of directors will take place. Claire Thieriot should be there officially elected president of the Federation of hunters of the department.
