Jean-Charles Aknin is part of the Yellow Vests movement. He explains that he intends to vote to prevent Emmanuel Macron from being re-elected in the 2022 presidential election.

Jean-Charles Aknin, 70, is a resident of Nice (Alpes-Maritimes). He has been part of the Yellow Vests movement since November 17, 2018. He explains that he went out on the street that day because he felt that “for years, things were not going well”. He mentions in particular “too expensive life”but also “job insecurity” and “public services that were no longer working”.

The septuagenarian assures that he will vote in the presidential election of 2022 even if this gesture “not much use, even if it is misguided”, he says. Jean-Charles Aknin affirms that we “Is obliged to think immediately about the useful vote because the stakes are really terrible. We cannot envisage Macron being able to come back”. To his eyes, “Pécresse and Macron, it’s the devil”. He confides that for the moment, his vote would be directed towards Eric Zemmour or Marine Le Pen “because we have no choice”.
