Forcing employees to work at home to limit cases of Covid-19: recourse to teleworking “will be made compulsory” from the start of the school year “for all employees for whom it is possible”, at the rate of “three days minimum per week and four days when possible”. This was announced by Jean Castex, Monday, December 27, during a press conference alongside the Minister of Health, Olivier Véran, after a health defense council and a Council of Ministers devoted to the health situation .

The Minister of Labor, Elisabeth Borne, will conduct a consultation with the social partners on this subject on Tuesday, December 28, added the Prime Minister. During his intervention, Jean Castex specified that the measure would take effect “for a period of three weeks” in order to reduce professional interactions.
