Companies with less than 250 employees in these sectors will be able to benefit from a “exceptional assistance with the payment of employee contributions” from a loss of turnover of 30% in the months of December and January. This aid will be equal to 20% of the amount of their gross payroll (i.e. the cost of salaries and charges), declared Jean Castex.
The Prime Minister also welcomed the adoption of an agreement “historical” on higher wages in the hotel and catering industry, after the deadline for unions to sign it expired last night. The latter provides for a minimum salary 5% higher than the Smic and an average increase of 16.33% of the entire current salary scale. Its application could start between March and April.
