Jean-Baptiste Guégan in Catalan country, behind the scenes of the Johnny’s Way concert in Saint-Estève!

An incredible destiny that of Jean-Baptiste Guégan, “the voice of Johnny”. As a child in Brittany, he listened to the singer over and over in his walkman until his father took him to see his idol in concert at Bercy when he was 9 years old. That day, his life changes: “I want to be a man like him”. The rest is thousands of concerts under the name of “Johnny Junior” before being revealed to the whole of France who discovered his voice thanks to France has an incredible talent which he won in 2018.

Since Jean Baptiste has released two albums which have been hugely successful, he has toured the zeniths and is back on stage with a new show which took place this Saturday February 5 at the Théâtre de l’étang de Saint-Estève. It is there between the rehearsals, the soundchecks and his dressing room that Jean-Baptiste Guégan welcomes us in all simplicity to come back on his journey and make us live behind the scenes of his concert, listen!

On March 27, Jean-Baptiste Guégan will be at Bercy for an evening that promises to be unforgettable and full of surprises. “I will celebrate my 20 years on stage and the 30th anniversary of the day I attended Johnny’s concert except that this time it will be me on the stage, it is a very important date for me”. Among his projects, he is already preparing his third album which he hopes to record as the first in Nashville, always surrounded by his artistic family Philippe Russo or even Michel Mallory, Johnny’s lyricist who has now become his own.
