Jazz 103 – Thunder 130 | Luguentz Dort scores 19 points in big Thunder win

(Oklahoma City) Aaron Wiggins had 27 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder scored a big win on Friday, beating the Utah Jazz 130-103.


Montrealer Luguentz Dort added 19 points, four steals and a block for the Thunder, which snapped a five-game losing streak.

OKC came within a game and a half of the Jazz, which is at 10e rank in the West.

Jalen Williams (20 points), Josh Giddey (18) and Isaiah Joe (17) also made great contributions.

Joe had five 3-pointers, one more than Dort.

Star player Shai Gilgeous-Alexander missed a fourth straight game. The Ontarian is bored in the abdomen, in addition to appearing in the protocol established during the pandemic.

Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 20 points.

Utah was doing without Jordan Clarkson and Collin Sexton, their second and third points. These are injuries to the thumb and the back of the thigh, respectively.

The Thunder won by being outshot 18-9 in free throws.

The two clubs will meet again on Sunday at OKC.
