Jarry kept it to himself for a long time before starting to confide in his loved ones, until the man he was wanted to live his life in broad daylight. At the time, Jarry put his brothers in the confidence before discussing the subject with their parents. If he feared their reaction, he certainly didn’t expect his mother’s. It must be said that between the announcements of his son and his favorite soap opera, The Fires of Love, his choice was quickly made! So when Jarry ended up confessing his homosexuality to her, his mother quickly sent the confession: “Let me finish my movie, anyway, I knew it. I get along better with gay people“, she replied.

Jarry did not accept his homosexuality right away, so much so that when he discovered it, he rushed to the doctor in order to treat what he did not know: “I had never heard of it or very little.
