The average annual contract value is $800,000.
A Quebec athlete, Pelletier spent part of last season with the Flames and the other part with the Wranglers of the same city, in the American League.
In 13 games with the Flames, he had one goal and three points.
Flames drafted Pelletier 26e in total in 2019.
In 37 NHL games, he has four goals and 10 points.
In the QMJHL, Pelletier delivered two seasons of at least 30 goals and 80 points with the Moncton Wildcats.
