(Ottawa) New Democratic Party Leader Jagmeet Singh is now a dad. His spouse, Gurkiran Kaur, gave birth to a daughter on January 3.
“Our little girl is my birthday present for life,” he wrote on social media, born on January 2.
This is the first child for the couple who married in January 2018, four months after Jagmeet Singh was elected leader of the NDP.
He made the announcement that his wife was pregnant on August 12, a few days before the start of the last federal election campaign.
