Jada Pinkett and Will Smith: Their unshakeable couple after the slap at the Oscars? A friend says more…

The last Oscars ceremony will be a milestone! Not by his prize list, but for this surreal scene where winner of the best actor award got up to slap a violent slap to a comedian on stage, we are of course talking here about the Will Smith and Chris Rock. Since then, the reactions have followed one another: between excuses, explanations, justifications and opinions, the comments are going well on the subject.

This week is Us Weekly who reveals, via a source close to Jada Pinkett, that the actress does not blame her husband at all for having slapped Chris Rock, author of a bad joke against him. Indeed, this source in question explains to our colleagues that she was “not mad at Will Smith.“As a reminder Jada Pinkett had been mocked for her short haircut (compared to that of an American soldier) while she suffers from a rare disease called alopecia, which causes hair loss. Us Weekly also reports that the couple nevertheless regrets an overreaction. “It was in the heat of the moment and he was the one who overreacted. He knows it, she knows it. They agree that he overreacted” confides the source to the American media. The couple who are very close and who assume their licentiousness have however decided to remain united in this ordeal. “They stick together through thick and thin (…) They’ve been through a lot together and it’s just another battle for them“says theinsider at US Weekly.

The first consequences of this act fell this week for the actor of bad boy. Even if his Oscar is not taken away from him, Will Smith has been left out of the Netflix project Fast and Loose in which he had to play the main role of a mafia boss. Moreover, on his own initiative, the actor decided to resign from the Academy of Oscars.
