Jacques and Gabriella of Monaco hand in hand: the twins deprived of their mother, but united

The two little blond heads will they fill the noticed absence of their mother? This Friday, November 19, 2021, Monaco is celebrating its National Day. Failing to be accompanied by his wife Princess Charlene, Prince Albert can count on the rest of his family. His young children, the Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella (soon to be 7 years old) fully took part in the celebrations.

After a first family reunion on Friday morning, for the traditional mass given in the cathedral of Monaco, the clan quickly returned to the palace for the rest of the events. The 63-year-old sovereign reviewed his troops and presented several badges, under the watchful eye of his sisters, Princesses Caroline and Stéphanie, hand in hand with Jacques and Gabriella. As he has been doing for three years now, the little heir has donned his miniature rifleman outfit and shown that he masters the military salute.

The rest of the Grimaldi clan, meanwhile, remained behind in the courtyard of the palace. Radiant in her golden Chanel outfit, Charlotte Casiraghi was surprised to take part in the festivities this year, after missing the three previous editions. His brothers Andrea Casiraghi and Pierre Casiraghi are also in the game with their respective wives, Tatiana Santo Domingo and Beatrice Borromeo, as well as the young Princess Alexandra of Hanover, the youngest daughter of Princess Caroline. The children of Princess Stéphanie are also present: Louis Ducruet and his wife Marie, Pauline Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb.

Cute kids, but no princess

Perhaps we will have the pleasure of seeing the youngest members of the princely family bustling about on the balcony of the princely palace, from where the clan generally greets the Monegasques? In addition to Jacques and Gabriella, the children of Charlotte Casiraghi, Raphaël Elmaleh and Balthazar Rassam (7 and 3 years old), could appear and thus divert attention from Charlene’s absence …

Returning from South Africa on November 8, after eight months away from the Rock and his family, the ex-swimmer began a new period of convalescence far from the principality. After having taken the trouble to respond, once again, to the strong rumors of divorce that have followed them since the beginning of the year, Prince Albert will nevertheless take advantage of this National Day to mark his 10 years of marriage with Charlene, the theme chosen for this 2021 edition.
