In return, the CH gave up another hope of the organization, the Czech center player Jan Mysak.

The 21-year-old Montrealer was chosen at 27e overall rank in the 2020 draft and played in the American League with the San Diego Gulls for the last four years, where he notably played under the orders of Joël Bouchard. He also got a taste of the National League by playing one game during the 2021-2022 season.

Perreault, who plays on the wing, collected 18 points in 31 games with the Ducks’ farm club. He played his junior hockey in Ontario, with the Sarnia Sting.

Mysak has started to come out of his shell this season with the Laval Rocket. He set a career high with 20 points, including 13 goals, in 48 games so far. He was a second round pick (48e in total) at the 2020 auction.
