(Montreal) The trial of Canadian musician Jacob Hoggard for sexual assault will begin in May, after being postponed several times due to COVID-19 restrictions.

The trial, which will be held before a jury, will begin on May 2 and will continue until the beginning of June.
Jacob Hoggard, lead singer of the band Hedley, was arrested in 2018 for alleged incidents involving a woman and a teenage girl, which allegedly occurred in the Toronto area in 2016.
He pleaded not guilty.
