It’s World Pasta Day… All the way to Asia

No doubt, Italians are the biggest consumers of pasta in the world. But it was the Asians who invented them… more than 4,000 years ago!

If in the West, pasta is made from eggs and wheat flour, in Asian countries, which grow little wheat, noodles are most often made from rice flour.

As with our Italian neighbours, Asians have a thousand and one recipes to accommodate pasta according to its shape, the dish cooked and the time of day.

If you choose to consume rice noodles in soup, you will have to choose the appropriate variety and simmer a good broth for long hours.

The concept of Bol’appetiteEmilie Béal’s Asian restaurant, is based on a bowl of fried noodles that are cooked in front of you on a giant grill!

You can prefer a dish of sautéed noodles with vegetables and meat or shellfish or opt for a delicious pho, this delicious traditional Vietnamese soup. A trip to the land of flavors.
