It’s the end for the Delissio pizza

Nestlé Canada will stop selling the famous Delissio frozen pizza and other frozen foods, but fortunately ice cream is not on the list of affected products.

In addition to the pizza that many love, Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine and Life Cuisine products will no longer be on the shelves of Canadian grocery stores within six months.

With this change, the company instead wants to focus on its other popular products, such as confectionery, coffee, ice cream and bottled water.

“Nestlé Canada attributes much of its long-term success to its ability to adapt and evolve within the industry. This decision allows us to invest more in priority categories,” John Carmichael, President and CEO of Nestlé Canada, said in a statement, adding that the company wants to “continue to bring great products to Canadians. […] now and in the future”.

It should be noted that the company established throughout the world does not have a factory for its frozen meals and pizzas in Canada.

The company will work with its retail partners to facilitate the release of affected products.
