Anny Duperey weighs in on “Mask Singer”, a “scripted” program according to her
Against all expectations, Anny Duperey was revealed to have kept “very good memories” of this experience but felt that her departure was “a little planned”. “I was trying to sing in my head voice… You don’t recognize me there. But if I start singing (she then performs a song without changing her voice, editor’s note), I was sure that people would recognize me right away , so it was a little bit scripted, but it was absolutely wonderful.”she said.
The actress then continued: “I took singing lessons when I was putting on a café-concert show and I was amazed that in a television show like that, we employ so many show professionals: designers, costume designers, seamstresses… It’s amazing. 12 dancers who changed costumes for each number.”.
