She is godmother of the Abbé Pierre foundation and a member of the Enfoirés troupe, since the start of her singing career. Nolwenn Leroy, who participated in 18 shows in total, is not in good spirits, while TF1 is preparing to broadcast the new show for the Restos du coeur, recorded during seven concerts, at the Arkea Arena in Bordeaux, in January 2024.
“All the Bastards are angry”
In an interview with puremedias.com, Arnaud Clément’s partner explains that she is sad and angry, following the appeal launched in September 2023 by Patrice Douret, president of Restos du coeur. He explained that the association created by Coluche was threatened with closure in 3 years, if nothing was done.
This is why Nolwenn Leroy ensures “When we take stock […] it’s not happy. It’s an anniversary and at the same time a difficult observation. This 35th anniversary is indeed sad…“. And she is not the only one within the collective. Nolwenn Leroy reveals: “Teveryone was amazed. It’s anger we feel. All the bastards are angry”.
And to add: “Who could have imagined that the Restaurants association would be in the red? Now there are even students who go to the Restos du coeur… It’s dramatic“. If the troupe has no other choice than to continue the show every year, it is to the government that Nolwenn Leroy is now addressing.
“For me it’s intolerable”
Indeed, she who ensures “We must not lose hope. All commitments and donations are welcome to change things” also supports: “but we need help from higher up at some point.” And Nolwenn doesn’t mince his words.
She laments thus: “we do not have a Minister of Housing in France for example“, “the fight against poverty should be a priority. And it’s not today. Clearly“, “For me it’s intolerable.”
