The victim of a sexual predator whom the prosecution wishes to have declared a dangerous offender spoke vehemently in court this morning to the man who tried to kidnap her in the middle of the street in Montreal three years ago, when she was just a teenager.
“It’s over for you now. Know that everyone is looking at you without pity. You are pitiful, ”wrote in a heartfelt letter the victim of Michel Vautour, whose identity is protected by a court order.
This morning, the testimony of the young woman was read by the prosecution as part of the observations on the sentence of the 46-year-old serial rapist, at the Montreal courthouse.
She described in detail the indelible consequences left on her by the actions of Vulture, who was previously called Michel Cox, on August 7, 2020.
That day, around 3:30 p.m., he tried to kidnap the teenager with the aim of holding her. He then pretended to be a policeman. However, she had managed to free herself from her claws, before finding herself handcuffed in her car.
The predator was then chased by the police, before being locked up.

Last summer, after admitting his guilt, he tried to escape from La Macaza prison, in a spectacular scenario worthy of a film, even going so far as to hide a mannequin in his bed. Wounded, he surrendered shortly afterwards.
This morning, the prosecution also took advantage of the moment to file a motion to have Vautour declared a dangerous offender. She also pleads for the latter to receive an extremely rare indefinite sentence.
More details to come.
