Colorado Avalanche forward Nazem Kadri will miss the remainder of the Western Conference Finals.

That’s what head coach Jared Bednar said Saturday night after Game 3 of the series between his team and the Edmonton Oilers.
“He will at least miss the rest of this series. This will be the minimum. His absence could be prolonged”, in particular said the pilot of the Avalanche.
Kadri was the victim of an unsightly blow from Evander Kane in the opening moments of the game. While trying to recover close to the band, the representative of the “Avs” was pushed in the back and fell heavily against the ramp.
“That kind of shot is the most dangerous thing in hockey,” Bednar said.
Kane received a five-minute penalty for his gesture, but was not ejected from the game.
“I arrived in defensive retreat. The puck was in the corner and I knew it [Kadri] likes to send her back to the other side of the ramp. I was just trying to contain it. That’s really all I did. Unfortunately, he hit the boards and injured his hands,” Kane said after the game that ended in a 4-2 win for the Avalanche.
Before getting injured, Kadri had some great streaks. The 31-year-old veteran hit the target six times and provided eight assists for 14 points in 13 playoff games.
The Colorado club, which leads 3-0 in the series, will try to secure its ticket to the Stanley Cup Final on Monday night.
