Jean-Jacques Goldman hated the name “Taratata”
If Jean-Jacques Goldman contributed to the success of Taratata and was even the designer of his cult theme song, Michael Goldman’s father however, never understood the name that Nagui chose to name his musical show… which has always amused the host of Do not forget the lyrics : “We were looking for an expression, an onomatopoeia, whose meaning would come from the sound, which is logical to evoke a musical show. We chose Taratata because it didn’t mean anything. Gérard Pullicino (the director, editor’s note) told me Besides, it was not the title that would make the show, but the show that would make the title… Besides, everyone told me that this title was rotten. Jean-Jacques Goldman, the first“. Thirty years later, Taratata is still there… and Gérard Pullicino was right!
