It’s high time to talk about prevention

Not so long ago, we took COVID-19 and its risk of contagion seriously by distributing masks and free tests, with strong information and advertising campaigns. We were still warned that we would have to learn to live with this virus.

But does this mean that we can abandon all these measures which have often allowed us to avoid catastrophe?

So, what is the situation now? The virus is there, and we are not taking it seriously.

No control in schools in particular: young people and perhaps their parents trivialize the increase in cases by continuing to attend school even if they are infected, instead of isolating themselves at home.

In addition, you currently have to pay $25 at a pharmacy to obtain a box of tests. All this does nothing to help us adopt measures to limit the spread of the virus.

Let us nevertheless mention that we are starting to require masks in hospitals and, when possible, we are reducing the number and times of hospitalization.

Caution is still required in the face of COVID-19 and the viruses that are constantly circulating.
