>> “City of hearts” or “communication shots”: why does Emmanuel Macron put the package on Marseille?
This experiment aims to give more freedom to voluntary establishments in order to launch pedagogical innovations and allow establishment directors to retain control over the recruitment of teachers. “This is creating a two-speed school, it is high time to put an end to it”said the trade unionist.
“We must finance all the schools”
Fifty-nine schools in Marseille were initially involved in this experiment: “We have a colossal budget of 2.5 million euros which has been allocated by the ministry and which is allocated to these schools so that they can carry out educational projects with their students. Except that it is 2, 5 million euros for a few schools and absolutely nothing for all the others”she denounced.
She also regrets that more teachers are assigned to these schools “while we have in the schools” marseilles of teachers who “are not replaced and this for several weeks. This creates a break in the equal opportunities that must be offered on the territory to all students wherever they are educated”she explained.
“Financial resources must be put everywhere so that educational projects that exist in all schools can be carried outshe claimed. We must fund all the schools because they do their job in the service of students and users.”
