at her Parisian home where the nursing staff come to take care of her. She now uses a wheelchair.
A source revealed to RTL that Claude Chirac wanted to preserve the image of his now weakened mother. “Her daughter does not want us to see her diminished, diminished” the family friend explained. Before returning to the rumors about Bernadette Chirac

“It hurts my heart when I see her in a wheelchair. I’m 78 years old, I’m dying after beating cancer, so it’s hard to see. Already, at the time, she had “significant pain in her feet. But she never complained”lamented André Demullet, referring to the 90-year-old woman.
After so much time spent at their side, André Demullet notably revealed that Bernadette Chirac is “a great lady who [lui] miss a lot” but he doesn’t dare call his daughter Claude to ask for news. Another source close to the family recently explained to the microphone of Figaro that Bernadette Chirac would be todayi “very disabled and emaciated”. Just like when Jacques Chirac was alive, the clan remains very modest and discreet.
