“It’s Happening Now” by Mustii, a dive into the multiple bowels of schizophrenia

Through his second album, Mustii, Thomas Mustin of his real name, makes tribute to his uncleto his extraordinary life, to this extraordinary person suffering from schizophrenia and who ended his life about ten years ago now.

In trying to give it a voice, he himself started an introspective journeyintimate, invigorating and unexpected.

The album “It’s Happening Now” therefore evokes mental illness but above all insists on the “extra” ordinary aspect of its protagonist. He collected his childhood and adolescent memories, discussions with his father as well, but left a lot of room for the imaginationallowing himself to get into his uncle’s head to fantasize his reality to address the themes of loneliness, the desire or the need to find one’s place when one has one foot outside the world.
