has marked many generations. Moreover, it has now been sixty years since his career took off overnight. A success for which she was not prepared at the time, as she confided on RTL this Tuesday, October 10, 2023.
“Beyond being brutal, I didn’t see anything. My parents signed a contract. I was in the studio, I recorded my first record. I think eight or ten days afterwards I was making TV. It happened so quickly (…) I learned on the job. The day I realized things was that I lost my freedom. It’s synonymous with loss freedom for me. It is not synonymous with success (…) it is above all the fact that I could no longer go out in the street”, has explained the interpreter of Spacer.
Besides, Sheila
listed the memories she had of the phenomenon caused by her success: “People were sleeping on my doormat, hiding in my parents’ parking lot. It’s very stressful. I have trauma from that time. I’m afraid of the crowd. It’s ridiculous because people are absolutely kind (…) I have a life with these people. For me it’s a huge family throughout France.”
