Absolute fan of the show The weakest link,
Vincent Dedienne will ultimately not host this program. Following the revelations of Var Morning affirming that the actor was going to take over the reins of the show, the latter has in fact decided to put an end to this rumor.
Guest in The original band on France Inter last October, the actor hilariously declared: “But it’s false! It’s false!” And to add:“That said, seeing it everywhere, I tell myself that it’s funny, that it would be a good idea.”
A rumor which, according to him, was born from the fact that he was an early admirer of this game. “I know how to say: ‘You are the weak link, goodbye’ in every language. I traded VHS from one country to another. I sent VHS of Laurence Boccolini and they sent me VHS from Germany”, he admitted on the radio… Only a few weeks later, Vincent Dedienne ended up admitting that he had indeed been approached to host two exceptional broadcasts of the game.

“I don’t want to do it anymore”
During an interview given to Telerama
this Monday, November 20, 2023 on the occasion of the release of the film I’m not a hero, the latter finally lifted the veil on this rumor: “As I love this program and it’s the 25th anniversary, I said to myself, I could do two exceptional Maillon Faible shows like that, for a laugh, as it brings together two of my passions: spectacle and gaming. And in fact, we are discussing it and a journalist leaked it to Var Matin […]. Everyone embraced it, everyone said ‘that’s it, he’s making a new career as a host’ when not at all, I wanted to do two (shows). So, I don’t want to do it anymore, it’s dead in the bud because of a leak on social networks.”
