“It’s coming soon”, a site for renting childcare equipment between parents

“It’s coming soon” is very young: Solène Hubault, 31 and mother of three children, launched it last September. It is a collaborative platform for the rental of childcare equipment and equipment between individuals.

You have private owners who are going to offer childcare goods for rent who sleep a little in a corner of their house, she explains. And then, opposite, we have private tenants who want to go on a trip in a slightly lighter way, without playing Tetris with the trunk of their car, or by struggling in public transport and where they could rent on the spot, all that is stroller, high chair, cot, for the comfort of their baby, on the place of vacation”, explains Solène Hubault.

“It’s coming soon” aims to be present throughout France, and even abroad for parents who go a little further and who do not want to bother. For now, the platform is scouring social networks to find customers. It is in the start-up phase. Especially since, in order to function, a lot of flow is needed. The amounts requested are very modest.

“The amounts range from one euro per day, and sometimes even ten cents per day. It really depends on the good that is offered.”

“100% of the amount requested by the owner is theirs. We add our commission, which is 20%, to be completely transparent, and that requires a lot of flow, to extend as much as possible on the national territory and to think more broadly for the future”, says Solène Hubault who is looking for investors to develop.

She is convinced that the collaborative model and the circular economy have a future, unlike the simple resale of goods. Solène Hubault is betting that parents need a cot or a high chair all year round, and that they want to leave light, for a weekend with the grandparents or by the sea.
