“It’s almost Zemmour”, Frédéric Beigbeder hits Léa Salamé’s famous guests in “Quelle époque”, Isabelle Carré smashes it!

After cooking Dany Boon about his latest film, life for real, in theaters on April 19, Léa Salamé tackled another guest in Quelle époque! Saturday April 15, 2023. Frédéric Beigbeder was present to talk about his book, Confessions of a slightly overwhelmed heterosexual.

A book from which certain extracts caught the attention of the host. “I’m going to tell you what goes on in the heads of straight men, never think a man is anything but sex seeking pleasure, a hand seeking a breast, a skin hungry for caress, a mouth that wants to bite a neck”, “Every woman I meet is systematically scanned with X-rays, I mean transformed into X-film instantly” or even “Each time” he meets “a woman, he imagine her making love”.

“Can you imagine me making love?”asked Léa Salamé. “Of course”, answered the guest honestly. The latter defended himself by indicating that he was trying “to analyze this kind of frantic desire”.

A few shakes with Isabelle Carré

Christophe Dechavanne also noted a quote: “It is the truth of man that you are not touched only because the law forbids it”. “It’s going a bit far”acknowledged the 58-year-old man. “It almost sounds like the words of Zemmour who said that man is a civilized sexual predator”, intervened Isabelle Carré. “I don’t agree with Zemmour”retorted the writer. “The last part is a bit like that. All men would be victims of their sexual urges and you shouldn’t blame them because it’s beyond them…”continued the actress. “No, no, I’m not saying that”he resumed. “We need to channel this permanent desire […] you have to channel, society is there for that. The law is there for that.”
