Just this moment: Lady Gaga singing My feather thingthe song by Zizi Jeanmaire – which many French people under 50 were unaware of until now – and you can imagine abroad. And yet, we recognized Paris, the Paris of cabarets, insolent singers and – precisely – feathered things.
And it’s delicious to think that, during the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Games, billions of humans saw and heard this song written by Bernard Dimey, an immense author who died in 1981 in a situation close to poverty.
And it’s also a pleasure to think that, in all the Olympic venues, supporters and journalists who came to France for the Games “Shazamed” That I love you.
