“It’s a clarification operation for the Socialist Party”, says Manon Aubry (LFI)

The Socialist Party (PS) ratified the agreement with LFI for the legislative elections on Friday 6 May. “The PS is somehow reconnecting with its history, with the battle for major social conquests. I am delighted to see that we are going to fight the battle together, for example for retirement at 60. It’s time to launch this third round and to be able to win in June to have a majority and to be able to change the lives of millions of people”explains Manon Aubry, MEP LFI, guest of the “4 Truths” of France 2, Friday, May 6. “It is a clarification operation for the Socialist Party. Above all, it is a response to a hope that has arisen”she adds.

This agreement is not unanimous on the ground. What to do with possible dissidents? “In the memorandum of understanding, each political party will make its own arrangements and will exclude anyone who wants to present themselves in political colors when they have not been invested by our new popular union”concludes Manon Aubry.
