Like every evening, the 11 p.m. news news takes a look at the news broadcast by European television channels. It’s Eurozapping on Saturday April 20.

The 21 humanitarian workers accused of collusion with smugglers are finally relieved. They had been called “water taxis”. The Save The Children spokesperson adds: “This decision sets the record straight about sea rescues.”

Gas drilling blocked by judges

There is no question of disturbing the seals, even less of emitting too much nitrogen: the court in The Hague (Netherlands) ruled in favor of activists who want to protect the climate against drilling. The latter has been blocked for the moment. Ineke Van Gent, local mayor, expects a real impact: “I hope the postponement will result in a decisive decision.” On the operators’ side, we are banking on a simple postponement of the project.
